Diving the Perciata Cave takes place along a wall that goes from a maximum depth of 22m to about 9m. The wall full of classic Mediterranean coral concretions provides shelter for small lobsters and shellfish; many easy encounters with colourful nudibranchs.

By following the wall towards the coast we reach the entrance to the Perciata Cave. In Sicilian dialect Perciata means "white hole" because the ceiling of the cave has so many holes to make it almost unnecessary to use a torch. The walls are covered with sponges, coral and light that enters from the ceiling provides fascinating insights to underwater photography.
