Punta Negra is a small cape on the Gulf of Macari behind St. Vito. The boat is moored a few meters from the coast on a rocky bottom of about 5meters deep. You move away from the anchor out to the deep sea through a canyon, where it is easy to find octopus dens. The wall of Punta Negra is quite spectacular and so extensive that it could not be visited in one dive. It's quite easy to find grouper and in the deepest part of the dive you can see beautiful red fan corals.
