One of the most unknown dive sites in Naxos is located right in front of Naxos Beach. This is the only dive spot where you can dive all year round at any time, day or night without using a boat or car. Simply get geared up and walk 30 meter to the water edge and you start to dive. You will encounter all the sea life you can imagine; all kind of moray eels, octopus, schools of juvenile barracudas, squid and rays. These treasures are found on the large areas of sand; marine life you cannot see on the drop offs and coral gardens. There are also many different kind of nudibranchs, crabs, shrimps, seahorses and stone fish. Night dives will give you a complete new impression with activity of nocturnal creatures in the bank of sand.
Without any current and a gently sloping sandy bottom, Naxos Beach is perfect for Discover Scuba Dives and Scuba classes.
