In the Gulf of Tonnara, a few hundred meters offshore, you can find the Cala Rossa Shoal coming up to about 10 meters deep. There are several paths you can follow on this huge rock with a high concentration of marine life. Eels, congers, lobsters, crabs and shrimp are found in every crack and hole. Groupers and snappers used to hover in the current and jack fish chasing some unlucky prey might suddenly appear. The Secca di Cala Rossa is one of the most beautiful and enjoyable dives in the area marked by the ancient anchors of an old Tuna farm. At the deep end are a couple of small caves with large concentrations of prawns.
Cala Rossa Wall is a dive beginning at 5 meters deep where the boat is anchored. The route goes through canyons formed by large boulders fallen off the wall, reaching a maximum depth of about 25 meter. This is a very nice wall dive where on each stone, each den, there is something new to see.
